The Vermont SBDC, partially funded by the Small Business Administration, Vermont Department of Economic Development, and Vermont State Colleges, is a non-profit partnership of government, education, and business. Its goal is to spur Vermont's economy by helping its small businesses succeed and grow. Joan Goldstein, Area Business and Technology Advisor, based in White River Junction, has an MBA in Finance and 20 year background as a financial services executive with J. P. Morgan, working in the areas of product development for on-line services, international sales and global marketing, investment banking, and management.
