The Upper Valley Aquatic Center, Northern New England's premier aquatic and fitness center, featuring state-of-the-art swimming pools, wellness programs and an indoor splash park will open in January. Smaller train cars promoted for
Vermonter route
and may include 2 round trips
to/from WRJ to NYC!

Amtrak wants Vermont to participate in a rail demonstration project that would use smaller cars called diesel multiple units (DMU). The new smaller DMU passenger cars could save the state money and increase ridership on the Amtrak Vermonter passenger route. White River Junction could expand to two daily departures to/from New York City.
